Summer Exhibition – WW2 Wartime in Westbury
As part of the national commemorations for VE80, Westbury Museum’s summer exhibition takes Wartime in Westbury as its theme.
Learn what life was like in Westbury during those war years – rationing, home guard, evacuees, American’s, PoWs and lots more and of course don’t forget the “vanishing horse”!
There will be lots of artifacts from our collections to view and handle and a short film produced by local filmmaker and videographer, John Wheeler, on the war with lots of new images of Westbury during the war years.
Drop by and immerse yourself in the memories of the 1940s.
Only open during Museum opening times.
Free to enter.
