Cemetery walk

Once again, as part of the Westbury Festival, one of our knowledgeable local historians, Liz Argent, will guide a heritage walk around Westbury.

This time, we are exploring Westbury’s cemetery on Bratton Road.  We ran this last year and it was so popular, we thought to offer it again! Liz will walk you around the cemetery telling tales of the people who “reside” there, the history of the site and also we can access one of the chapels and the mausolea.

Meet at the cemetery (just inside the gates) at 1.45 pm. Wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for any weather! Please note, there is no parking (apart from a couple of disabled spaces) within the cemetery.

Tickets can be bought in advance from the Westbury Festival website westbury festival or pay cash on the day.
